Jason’s Personal Mission Statement

“I understand and appreciate that each client we serve is a vital component of our firm’s success. I treat each client as though they are my only client and I respect them for making Watkins Uiberall their firm of choice.”

Jason joined the member group of Watkins Uiberall, PLLC in 2009 and has been with the firm since 2002. As a member, he provides comprehensive tax preparation, planning and consulting services. Jason works with a variety of clients including corporations, S corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts and individuals. 

Prior to joining Watkins Uiberall, Jason served as a staff and senior accountant for three years at an international accounting firm. There he learned the ropes of public accounting and began building the foundation of his strong work ethic and commitment to client service.

Beyond his client responsibilities, Jason provides leadership and assistance to existing team members through his participation in many of the firm’s internal committees. He is actively involved in the recruitment and cultivation of new professionals in addition to creating and developing the tax department’s new hire training program.

Jason is well known within the professional community. On several occurrences he has been a contributing author to the “Money Matters” column of The Commercial Appeal. Jason has presented “Tax Update” for CPE credits at the University of Mississippi Accountancy Weekend. In addition, he was quoted in the monthly healthcare publication, Memphis Medical News.

Jason grew up in Clarksdale, Mississippi and currently resides in Germantown, Tennessee with his wife and sons. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and fishing.
