Bill co-founded what is now known as Watkins Uiberall, PLLC in 1971. As a firm senior member, he is focused on continued growth and profitability and maintains personal relationships with the Watkins Uiberall team, clients and the community. Bill is actively involved in all phases of the firm’s daily activities and has had significant influence on the firm’s professional development initiatives. He is dedicated to ensuring the Watkins Uiberall team provides the firm’s clients with the most progressive and proactive service available.
Beyond his role as a firm leader, Bill continues to provide services to a diverse client base. With over 39 years of experience in public accounting, he serves as a trusted advisor and business partner to his clients. As a founder of Watkins Uiberall, Bill fully understands the mechanics of running a business. His knowledge enables him to provide valuable advice and solutions to his clients. Bill offers a comprehensive suite of services including assurance, accounting, tax consulting, merger and acquisition assistance and management consulting.
Prior to establishing the base firm of Watkins Uiberall, Bill began his career in public accounting with a large local firm. He then served as controller for the sixth largest industrial security firm in the United States. Bill also served as the divisional controller for a subsidiary of the security firm. He transitioned back into public accounting when the opportunity to start the public accounting firm of Watkins and Watkins arose in 1971.
Bill is a Missouri native and currently resides in Germantown, Tennessee with his wife, Jeanette. When away from the office, he and Jeanette enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren, relaxing at their lake home and boating.
