Michael is a co-founder of what is now Watkins Uiberall, PLLC. As a
senior member of the firm, he serves as a consultant providing proactive
advice and guidance to clients through tax consulting, assurance services,
personal wealth planning and business consulting.
Michael specializes in several areas of business consulting. Specifically, he
provides recommendations on tax minimization strategies, profit
enhancement, entity structure and growth opportunities. Michael has
honed his skills in federal and multi-state taxation, C corporations,
S corporations, mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he focuses on
enhancing the personal wealth of his clients and their families through
trust and estate tax planning services.
Michael’s professional career began in 1965 when he joined the public
accounting firm of Willheim, Zimmerman & Co., CPAs. He served at
the firm for over six years in their New York City, Los Angeles and San
Francisco offices. Michael moved to Memphis in 1971 and worked for two
local firms before forming the partnership of Anderson & Uiberall. The
firm transitioned, through incorporation and mergers, into what is now
known as Watkins Uiberall, PLLC.
Michael was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York and currently
resides in Memphis with his wife. While away from the office, Michael
enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading and cooking.
