Rachel joined Watkins Uiberall, PLLC in 2010, after completing an internship with the firm in 2009. As a principal, she is responsible for managing client relationships, a variety of audit engagements, and providing leadership to the audit department. She is also responsible for researching and implementing technical guidance. Rachel specializes in employee benefit plans, nonprofit organizations, healthcare, school districts, and small businesses.
In her work with employee benefit plans, Rachel is dedicated to growing the firm’s employee benefit plan niche and training staff in this specialized industry. With 9 years of experience in the employee benefit plan industry, Rachel has extensive experience in audit and compliance requirements of defined contribution, defined benefit, ESOP, and government plans. She helps manage over 60 plan audits to ensure compliance with DOL and ERISA requirements. Rachel regularly attends the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan National Conference. Her nonprofit clients include, health and welfare, national youth organizations, charitable organizations, and foundations.
A contributing factor to Rachel’s success is her strong work ethic, she grew up on a farm, where hard work was not optional. She is also very dedicated to providing quality work to each and every client. Rachel strives to be a trusted advisor to both co-workers and clients.
